  1. Remove the rear compartment sill trim plate. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement.
  2. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Impact Bar Replacement.

Rear Compartment Latch Striker Nut (Qty: 3)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)

Tip

    • Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed.
    • Disconnect the any cables as needed.
    • Transfer parts as needed.
