High Mount Stop Lamp Replacement STS-V

Preliminary Procedure Remove the rear spoiler assembly. Refer to Rear Spoiler Replacement.
1	High Mount Stop Lamp Assembly Procedure Using a small flat-bladed tool, gently pry outward at the arrow locations in order to remove the high mounted stop lamp from the rear end spoiler assembly.

Remove the rear spoiler assembly. Refer to Rear Spoiler Replacement.

High Mount Stop Lamp Assembly

Procedure

Using a small flat-bladed tool, gently pry outward at the arrow locations in order to remove the high mounted stop lamp from the rear end spoiler assembly.

High Mount Stop Lamp Replacement STS

Callout	Component Name
Preliminary Procedure Remove the rear compartment inner trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement.
1	High Mounted Stop Lamp Nut (Qty: 4) Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 4 N·m (35 lb in)
2	Center High Mounted Stop Lamp Tip Disconnect the electrical connector prior to removing the lamp assembly from the rear compartment lid.

High Mounted Stop Lamp Nut (Qty: 4)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
4 N·m (35 lb in)

Center High Mounted Stop Lamp

Tip
Disconnect the electrical connector prior to removing the lamp assembly from the rear compartment lid.
