Preliminary Procedure Remove the rear compartment lid inner trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement .
1	Backup Lamp Assembly Nuts (Qty: 2) Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section. Tighten 6 N·m (53 lb in)
2	Backup Lamp Assembly Tip Disconnect all electrical connections before attempting removal. If only replacing the bulb, turn the socket assembly and pull out of the lamp assembly. This can be done from inside the rear compartment lid without removing the lamp from the vehicle.

Backup Lamp Assembly Nuts (Qty: 2)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
6 N·m (53 lb in)

Backup Lamp Assembly

Tip

Disconnect all electrical connections before attempting removal.
If only replacing the bulb, turn the socket assembly and pull out of the lamp assembly. This can be done from inside the rear compartment lid without removing the lamp from the vehicle.
