Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2009 🢒 SRX 🢒 Roof 🢒 Sunroof 🢒 Sunroof Window Rear Track Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure

    Note: The side trim covers overlap. This procedure requires the removal of the front trim cover and 2 side trim covers on the same side.

  1. Remove the roof side trim covers from the side of the tracks in order to access the rear track screws being serviced. Refer to Sunroof Exterior Trim Cover Replacement.
  2. Remove the front, center, and rear sunroof window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement.
  3. Remove the rear track extension. Refer to Sunroof Window Track Rear Extension Replacement
  4. Slide the sunroof window guide from the rear track.

  5. Remove the screws from sunroof rear track assembly.
  6. Lift the sunroof rear track from the sunroof frame.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the sunroof rear track to the sunroof frame.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1936987 Size: SH

    Note: Loosely install the screws for the entire length of the tracks. Ensure that the track being serviced is parallel to the other track.

  2. Install the screws to sunroof rear track.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  3. Slide the sunroof window guide into the rear track.
  4. Install the rear extension to the track. Refer to Sunroof Window Track Rear Extension Replacement
  5. Install the rear, center, and front windows. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement.
  6. Check sunroof window for proper operation.
  7. Install the sunroof exterior trim covers to the side of the track that was serviced. Refer to Sunroof Exterior Trim Cover Replacement.
