Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the primary camshaft drive chain tensioner. Refer to Primary Camshaft Drive Chain Tensioner Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 1579007 Size: SH
  2. Remove the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide bolts.
  3. Remove the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1579007 Size: SH
  1. Position the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide to the oil pump.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the primary camshaft drive chain lower guide bolts and tighten to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).
  3. Install the primary camshaft drive chain tensioner. Refer to Primary Camshaft Drive Chain Tensioner Replacement.
