The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
If DTC P0856 appears after an ECU Reprogram perform the following.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Please clear the DTC, test drive to confirm the DTC does not reappear, and return vehicle to customer. No further repairs or reprogramming are necessary. If DTC does reappear then follow eSI diagnostics.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
