Navigation Display Screen is Blue When Turned Off - keywords back backlight blue light lit nav radio

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Some owners may comment that the display screen on the Navigation Radio is blue and backlit when the Radio is turned off.

This is a normal condition. No repair attempts should be made.

Note: The display screen can be turned off completely by performing the following:

1. Press the "NAV" button on the right side of the Radio face
2. Press the "DISPLAY" softkey on the touchscreen
3. Select "DISPLAY OFF" on the touch screen.

The display will remain off until a button is pressed on the radio, or when the radio is turned off.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
