Connector End View Reference: Wiper/Washer Connector End Views

Did you review the Wiper/Washer System Description and Operation and perform the necessary inspections?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic Starting Point - Wiper/Washer Systems

1. Disconnect the wiper/washer switch connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON, engine OFF.

Is the washer still ON?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Test the control circuit between the wiper/washer switch and the rear window wiper module for a short to voltage. Refer to Wiring Repairs .

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 5

Replace the wiper/washer switch. Refer to Rear Window Wiper and Washer Switch Replacement .

Is the replacement complete?

Go to Step 7

Test the control circuit between the rear window washer fluid pump and the rear window wiper module for a short to voltage. Refer to Wiring Repairs .

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 6

Replace the rear window wiper module. Refer to Control Module References for replacement, setup, and programming.

Is the replacement complete?

Go to Step 7

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
