After replacement of adjustable pedal mechanical components or if the memory seat module is reprogrammed or replaced, the adjustable pedals softstop positions must be learned.
The memory seat module must be powered.
This DTC will set if the pedals actuator softstops are not learned.
Manual and memory adjustable pedals operation will be disabled.
• | The current DTC will clear and set the code to history, 3 seconds after the fault is no longer present and the power mode changes to OFF then back to ACC or RUN. |
• | The history DTC will clear after 50 consecutive fault-free ignition cycles have occurred. |
The Memory Seat Module (MSM) may be referenced as the Driver Position Module.
Adjustable Pedal Connector End Views
Ignition ON, observe the scan tool Pedals Softstop Learn Status parameter. The parameter reading should be Learned.
⇒ | If other adjustable pedal DTCs are set, diagnosis those DTCs first. |
⇒ | If not the specified value, test the adjustable pedals manual operation. If the pedals manual operation is normal, replace the memory seat module. |
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification after completing the diagnostic procedure.
