The 2006 Cadillac SRX is not offering a second row center seat headrest from the plant. The seat assembly will still have all of the internal components to accommodate a headrest. Some customers may opt to have this headrest installed.
Follow the procedure below to install the headrest.
- Locate the two holes on the seat back foam.
- Use a sharp Exacto knife and cut a 20 mm (3/4") wide X in the center of the depression.
- Install the driver side (NON-BUTTON ) guide pin.
- Install the passenger side (WITH BUTTON) guide pin.
- Install the headrest.
Important: The small indicator hole on the pin should be facing inboard.
Important: The button should facing outboard.
