Radio Static on AM or No Reception , RKE , Home Link Door Inoperative - kw electrical fuse interior light

When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

Possible symptoms include, radio static on AM or no reception, RKE, home link door opener inoperative or no interior lights.

Possible open theft fuse and open interior lamp fuse in left rear fuse panel. Check for a short to ground at left sun visor. Circuit 3640 Red/White or Circuit 149 D-BU/White, can be pinched causing the fuse to open. You do not have to remove the headliner. Simply remove the three attaching visor screws, pull the visor down, and the wires are available for repair. A quick check for the theft fuse is to inspect home link for operation. A red LED should come on when a button is pushed. Home link opener is located on left sun visor.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance.
