Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2004 🢒 SRX 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls - 3.6L (LY7) 🢒 Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear wheelhouse liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement in Body Rear End.

    2. Object Number: 1239234 Size: SH
  2. Remove the push-in retainers.

    3. Object Number: 1239238 Size: SH
  3. Open the liftgate.
  4. Remove the bolts (1) securing the fascia (2) to the rear end panel.
  5. Remove the bolts (3) securing the fascia to the horizontal joint at the quarter panel (4).
  6. Remove the fascia by sliding rearward to disengage the fascia from the rear bumper brackets.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector, if equipped.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1239238 Size: SH
  1. Position the fascia (2) to the body.
  2. Connect the electrical connector, if equipped.
  3. Install the fascia to the quarter panel pressing into place until fully secured.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the bolts (1) to secure the fascia to the rear end panel.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts (1) to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  5. Position the fascia to the horizontal joint at the quarter panel (4).
  6. Install the bolts (3) in order to secure the fascia to the quarter panel (4).

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  7. Install push-in retainers (2) to secure the fascia to the rear impact bar.
  8. Install the rear wheelhouse liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement in Body Rear End.
  9. Close the liftgate.
