SUBJECT: MOAN NOISE DURING STEERING MANEUVERS (INSTALL NEW BRACKET)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1993 "D" MODEL

CONDITION:

--------- Some owners of 1993 Cadillac D cars may comment on a "moaning" type noise during some steering maneuvers.

CAUSE:

----- On some vehicles built before VIN 1G6DW5275PR715730, the ABS brake pressure modulator valve bracket may rub the stone shield on the steering shaft during certain steering inputs.

CORRECTION:

---------- A revised brake pressure modulator valve rear mounting bracket has been released. If a vehicle is found with this condition, install a new bracket P/N 10235263.
