INFORMATION ON FRONT LICENSE MOUNTINGS - CADILLAC MODELS

SUBJECT: INFORMATION ON LICENSE BRACKET AVAILABILITY ON 1992 CADILLAC MODELS

For 1992, front license brackets are optional on Eldorados and Sevilles. This is a change from the 1991 model year when the front license bracket was standard equipment on these vehicles. On DeVilles, Fleetwoods, and Broughams the front license mounting provision continues to be standard, while it remains an option on Allantes for 1992.

If a front license mounting bracket is desired or required by law for an Eldorado, Seville, or Allante; option VK3 must be specified on the vehicle order form. This is a no-charge option.

13. Hold metal bracket in place until set (approximately five minutes). 14. Apply a bead of Loctite 410 adhesive around entire perimeter of metal support. 15. To secure vinyl, apply bead of Loctite 410 along edge of substrate and pull vinyl tight until secure.

16. Let quarter trim panels stand for one hour. 17. Reinstall quarter panels in car. Refer to Section 10-7 of the appropriate Service Information Manual.

For warranty purposes use Labor Operation T6570 at .8 hour for right side quarter panel and Labor Operation T6571 ar .8 hour for left side quarter panel.
