SPECIALTY VEHICLE WARRANTY ENHANCEMENT

SUBJECT: SPECIALTY VEHICLE WARRANTY ENHANCEMENT

Overwhelming acceptance in the Specialty Vehicle Industry of the 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood limousines and hearses has already been demonstrated by exceeding the past two model years' sales records. Further support of this industry was enhanced with the development of the Cadillac Master Coachbuilder and the Cadillac Limousine Dealer marketing programs.

In a continuing effort to minimize downtime of these highly utilized vehicles and improve our Cadillac customer satisfaction, we are enhancing our Gold Key bumper-to-bumper warranty coverage and Commercial Vehicle Protection Plan (CVPP) on 1993 Cadillac Master Coachbuilder produced limousines and hearses. We are attaching a listing of all approved Cadillac Master Coachbuilders for your convenience in administering this program.

Enhancements include overnight shipment of all warranty parts at no charge to the customer along with a "loaner sedan", if necessary, while the limousine or hearse is at a Cadillac dealership for overnight warranty service.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
