Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 309075 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the compact disc (CD) player (2).
  2. Remove the 2 bolts (1) from the floor bracket at the front of the CD player.

  3. Slide the CD player (4) forward in order to remove the player.
  4. Remove the CD player from the mounting bracket. Refer to CD Changer From Bracket Removal .

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the compact disc (CD) player to the mounting bracket. Refer to CD Changer From Bracket Removal .

    2. Object Number: 309077 Size: SH
  2. Slide the tabs on the bracket (3) into the slots in the floor.

    3. Object Number: 309075 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the 2 bolts (1) to the front of the bracket into the floor.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  4. Connect the electrical connector (3).
