Did you perform the Outside Mirrors System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Remove the mirror face (glass) from the mirror that does not heat. Refer to Mirror Face Replacement - Outside Electrochromatic .
3. Disconnect the heated mirror harness connector from the mirror face.
4. Connect a digital multimeter (DMM) between the mirror heater circuits.
5. Turn the ignition ON.
6. Command the mirror to heat by turning the rear defroster ON.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 3

1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Disconnect the connector C1 from the mirror that does not heat.
3. Test the mirror heater circuits for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition.

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Go to Step 4

Test CKT 267 (ORN) for an open.

Is the circuit OK?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

Repair the open in CKT 267 (ORN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Repair the open in one of the following circuits.

Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Outside Mirrors System Check

Replace the inoperative outside mirror face. Refer to Mirror Face Replacement - Outside Electrochromatic .
