Did you perform the Power Windows System Check?

Go to Power Windows System Check

1. Turn ON the ignition.
2. Use a digital multimeter (DMM) in order to backprobe the LH window switch from CKT 165 (BRN) to CKT 164 (DK BLU).
3. Press the left front power window UP switch, then the window DOWN switch on the LH window switch.

Is the voltage within the specified range in both positions?

10-15 V

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

Replace the LH window switch. Refer to Front Side Door Window Switch Replacement

Is the repair complete?

Go to Power Windows System Check

--

1. Disconnect the LH window motor.
2. Connect a DMM between the power window motor connector terminal A and terminal B.
3. Press the left front power window UP switch, then the window DOWN switch on the LH window switch.

Is the voltage within the specified range in both positions?

10-15 V

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Replace the LH window motor. Refer to Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Power Windows System Check

--

Test CKT 165 (BRN) for an open.

Is the circuit OK?

--

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 7

Repair the open in CKT 165 (BRN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Power Windows System Check

--

Repair the open in CKT 164 (DK BLU). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

--
