Go to Power Windows System Check

1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
2. Use a digital multimeter (DMM) in order to backprobe the LH window switch connector terminal H (PNK) to ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Use a DMM in order to backprobe the LH window switch between connector terminal H (PNK) and terminal G (BLK).

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Repair the open or short to ground in CKT 70 (PNK). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Power Windows System Check

Replace the LH window switch. Refer to Front Side Door Window Switch Replacement .

Repair the open in CKT 50 (BLK). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
