Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the wheelhouse extension. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement in Body Front End.

    2. Object Number: 372833 Size: SH
  2. From inside the wheel opening, insert a flat-bladed tool between the molding (2) and the fascia (1).

    3. Begin to separate the molding from the fascia.

  3. Once access is available, gently peel the molding from the fascia.
  4. Remove any old adhesive from the panel and molding.

    5. If you are reusing the panel and the molding, use 3M® General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner 08984 or an equivalent.

Installation Procedure

  1. If you are reusing the molding, apply new adhesive tape to the molding and renew the backing.
  2. Press the molding (2) to the fascia (1).

    3. Apply heavy hand pressure against the molding in order to assure proper wetout of the adhesive. Rub along the entire length of the molding. Wear clean gloves or use a clean towel while you perform this step.

  3. Install the wheelhouse extension. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement in Body Front End.
