Refer to Instrument Cluster: Analog Schematics
The battery voltage is supplied to the IPC connector C1 terminals A1 and B1.
When the IPC is awake, the voltage at the IPC connector C1 terminals A1 and B1 are measured every 300 ms.
This DTC indicates a circuit malfunction is preventing the alternator from charging.
The IPC measures the following conditions:
• | The engine speed greater than 1500 RPM |
• | The voltage at the IPC connector C1 terminals A1 and B1 when the voltage is 10 V for 2 seconds. |
• | The IPC displays the BATTERY VOLTAGE LOW message on the driver message center. |
• | If the voltage falls below approximately 9.0 V, the IPC turns off all of the unneeded dimming VF display circuits (CCP 54 V). |
