  1. Remove the DRL relay from the underhood relay center.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Measure the voltage to ground at the DRL relay connector terminal A9 (PNK).

Is battery voltage measured?

Measure the voltage to ground at the DRL relay connector terminal B9 (ORN).

Is battery voltage measured?

  1. Place the gear selector in the park position.
  2. Measure the voltage between the DRL relay connector terminal A9 (PNK) and terminal B7 (LT GRN/BLK).

Is battery voltage measured?

Repair the open in CKT 439 (PNK). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair the open in CKT 1640 (ORN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Connect a fused jumper between the DRL relay connector terminal B9 (ORN) and terminal A7 (PPL/WHT).

Do the daytime running lamps turn on?

Inspect CKT 592 (LT GRN/BLK) for an open. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Replace the DRL relay.
