Notice: If the power steering system has been serviced, an accurate fluid level reading cannot be obtained unless air is bled from the steering system. The air in the fluid may cause pump cavitation noise and may cause pump damage over a period of time.

1. Remove the pump and reservoir assembly from the vehicle. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .



2. Use the J 38825 in order to remove the pulley.

Important: Ensure that the face of the pulley hub is flush with the pump drive shaft. Do not use an arbor press in order to install the pulley.

1. Use the J 25033-C in order to install the pulley.
2. Install the pump and reservoir assembly into the vehicle. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .
