Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

    2. Object Number: 106181 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the intermediate cable (1) at the adjuster  (2).
  3. Remove the adjuster (2) from the intermediate cable  (1).

    4. Object Number: 602459 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the left, right rear and intermediate cable from the rear equalizer  (2).
  5. Remove the intermediate cable from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the intermediate cable on the vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 602459 Size: SH
  2. Connect the left and right rear cables to the intermediate cable, using the equalizer (2).

    3. Object Number: 106181 Size: SH
  3. Connect the intermediate cable (1) to the adjuster (2).
  4. Adjust the parking brake cable. Park Brake Cable Service/Adjustment .
