Tools Required

1. Remove the radiator cooling fans. Refer to Engine Cooling Fan Replacement in Engine Cooling.
2. Install the J 42504 .



3. Install the J 42478 .



4. Install the J 28467-A .
5. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.



6. Remove the two nuts (2) securing the mount (1) to the frame.
7. Remove the two nuts securing the mount bracket to the engine block.
8. Remove the bolt securing the brace to the transaxle.
9. Lower the vehicle.
10. Remove the two upper bolts securing the engine mount bracket to the engine.
11. Remove the mount and the bracket.

1. Install the mount and bracket.
2. Loosely install the two upper bolts securing the mount bracket to the engine.
3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
4. Install the engine support brace.
5. Loosely install the two nuts securing the support brace and the bolt to the support brace.




Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

6. Install the nuts (2) securing the mount (1) to the frame.

Tighten
Tighten the nuts and bolts in the following sequence:

6.1.	Tighten the mount bracket left nut to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

6.2.	Tighten the mount bracket right nut to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

6.3.	Tighten the engine brace bolt to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

6.4.	Tighten the mount nuts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

6.5.	Tighten the two upper mount brace bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).




7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Remove the J 28467-A .



9. Remove the J 42478 .



10. Remove the J 42504 .
11. Install the radiator cooling fans. Refer to Engine Cooling Fan Replacement in Engine Cooling.
