The body rear end section contains service information
for the removal, installation, adjustment and sealing of the following components:

| • | The individual lid hardware components |
| • | The nameplates attached to the rear compartment lid |
The rear compartment lid consists of an inner panel and an outer panel.
The panels have hems around the perimeter. The panels bond together with structural
adhesive. The compartment lid hinge bolts to the rear shelf and to the
lid. Torque rods on the DeVille models provide an opening assist. Extension
springs on the Eldorado provide an opening assist.
