Removal Procedure
- Remove the lock cylinder emblem, as necessary.
- Disconnect the lock release cable (3) from the back of the lock cylinder.
- Use a long screwdriver in order to remove the retainer (1).
- Remove the cylinder (4) from the lid (2).
- Disconnect the wire connector, as necessary.
Place a wooden wedge between the screwdriver and the inner panel in order to protect the painted surface of the lid (2).
Installation Procedure
- Connect the wire connector, as necessary.
- Install the cylinder (4).
- Install the retainer (1).
- Connect the lock release cable (3) to the back of the cylinder.
- Install the lock cylinder emblem, as necessary.
