Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement DeVille

1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the 4 fasteners for the cargo net.
3. Remove the cargo net.
4. Remove the rear compartment sill plate. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement .
5. Remove the spare tire cover.
6. Remove the wheel nut.
7. Install the spare tire.
8. Remove the jack holder and the jack.
9. Remove the remote CD changer. Refer to Remote CD Changer Replacement in Entertainment.
10. Remove the spare tire and the jack.
11. Remove the 2 snap-in retainers from the rear compartment trim panel.



12. Remove the rear compartment trim panel.

1. Install the rear compartment trim panel.
2. Install the 2 snap-in retainers of the rear compartment trim panel.
3. Install the remote CD changer. Refer to Remote CD Changer Replacement in Entertainment.
4. Install the jack holder and the jack.
5. Install the spare tire.
6. Install the wheel nut.
7. Install the spare tire cover.
8. Install the rear compartment sill plate. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement .
9. Install the 4 fasteners for the cargo net.
10. Install the cargo net.
11. Close the rear compartment lid.

Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement Eldorado

1. Open the trunk.
2. Remove the cargo net.
3. Remove the rear compartment sill plate. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement .



4. Remove the spare tire cover (1).
5. Remove the wheel nut.
6. Remove the spare tire (2).
7. Remove the jack retainer.
8. Remove the remote CD changer, as necessary. Refer to Remote CD Changer Replacement in Entertainment.
9. Remove the 2 snap-in retainers of the rear compartment trim panel.



10. Remove the rear compartment trim panel (1).

1. Install the rear compartment trim panel (1).
2. Install the 2 snap-in retainers of the rear compartment trim panel (1).
3. Install the remote CD changer, as necessary. Refer to Remote CD Changer Replacement in Entertainment.



4. Install the jack.
5. Install the spare tire (2).
6. Install the wheel nut.
7. Install the spare tire cover (1).
8. Install the rear compartment sill plate. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement .
9. Install the cargo net retainers.
10. Install the cargo net.
11. Close the rear compartment lid.

Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement V4U

1. Remove the rear compartment front side trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Front Trim Panel Replacement.
2. Remove the rear compartment sill plate. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement .
3. Remove the rear compartment right side trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side .
4. Remove the spare tire cover.
5. Remove the spare tire and the jack.
6. Remove the fuse panel cover through the trim panel.
7. Remove the fuel door manual release handle through the trim panel.



8. Fold the left side inward.
9. Lift the rear compartment trim panel (2) from the vehicle.

1. Install the rear compartment trim panel (2) to the vehicle.
2. Install the fuel door manual release handle through the trim panel.
3. Install the fuse panel cover through the trim panel.
4. Install the spare tire and the jack.
5. Install the spare tire cover.
6. Install the rear compartment right side trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side .
7. Install the rear compartment sill plate. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement .
8. Install the rear compartment front side trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Front Trim Panel Replacement.
