Does the test lamp light?

Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the RH lumbar horizontal relay connector from cavity C (RED) to cavity D (BLK).

  1. Place the RH lumbar switch in the IN position.
  2. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the RH lumbar horizontal relay connector from cavity A (GRY) to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Place the RH lumbar switch in the OUT position.
  2. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the RH lumbar horizontal relay connector from cavity F (YEL) to ground.

  2. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the RH lumbar horizontal relay connector from cavity B (WHT) to ground.

Test for an open or short to ground in CKT 210 (WHT or PNK/BLK) between the RH lumbar horizontal relay and the RH lumbar horizontal motor. Refer to Testing for Continuity or Testing for Short to Ground in Wiring Systems.

Test for an open or short to ground in CKT 211 (DK BLU or DK BLU/WHT) between the RH lumbar horizontal relay and the RH lumbar horizontal motor. Refer to Testing for Continuity or Testing for Short to Ground in Wiring Systems.

Replace the RH lumbar horizontal motor. Refer to Front Seat Lumbar Support Replacement .

Repair the open in CKT 742 (RED) between splice S356 and the RH lumbar horizontal relay. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair the open in CKT 850 (BLK) between splice S357 and the RH lumbar horizontal relay. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Test for an open or short to ground in CKT 758 (GRY) between the RH lumbar switch and the RH lumbar horizontal relay. Refer to Testing for Continuity or Testing for Short to Ground in Wiring Systems.
