Removal Procedure
  1. Position the passenger seat fully forward.
  2. Position the drivers seat rearward and up.

    3. Object Number: 315314 Size: SH
  3. Remove the tabs at either side of the air duct (3) retaining duct to the armrest (4) . In order to allow access to the retaining nuts (2), position the duct forward.
  4. Remove the nuts retaining the armrest to the drivers seat.
  5. Remove the armrest (1) from the seat.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 315314 Size: SH
  1. Install the armrest (1).

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. In order to retain the armrest, install the nuts (2) .

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  3. Connect the air duct (3) to the armrest.
  4. Reposition the seats.
