Sunroof Switch Replacement DeVille

1. Use a flat bladed tool (1) in order to release the trim cover (2).
2. Pull downward on the front of the overhead console (3) in order to release the clips that retain the overhead console to the roof.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
4. Remove overhead console (3).



5. Gently pry the locking tabs that retain the sunroof switch to the overhead console (5).
6. Remove the sunroof switch (1).

1. Install the sunroof switch (1).
2. Gently push the sunroof switch into place.
3. Insert the rear of the overhead console into place and connect the electrical connectors.



4. Push the overhead console up in order to engage fasteners.
5. Install the trim cover (2) to secure the overhead console (3) into place.

Sunroof Switch Replacement Eldorado

1. Gently pry open the roof console trim plate (1).
2. Remove the fastener  (2) retaining the roof console (3) to the headliner.
3. Gently pull rearward the roof console to release from the locking tabs (4).
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the power sunroof switch.



6. Disconnect the retaining tabs securing the switch to the roof console.

Remove the switch (1).

1. Install the switch (1).
2. Push the switch into the locking tabs on the roof console to secure.
3. Connect the electrical connector.



4. Position the roof console in the opening. Make sure locking tabs (4) are secure.
5. Install the fastener (2) to secure the roof console (3) to the headliner.
6. Install the roof console trim plate (1).
