Front Side Door Upper Auxiliary Sealing Strip Replacement DeVille

1. Open the front and rear doors.



2. Remove the fasteners (3) retaining the roof rail weather-strip (1) to the door opening.
3. Remove the 4 push-in fasteners retaining the weather-strip (2) to the rear door opening (1).



4. Pull the roof rail weather-strip from the pinchweld flange (2).

Important: If the butyl tape is damaged or removed on the pinchweld flange (2), replace the tape.

1. Starting at the upper corner of the rear door opening, install the 4 push-in fasteners.
2. Press the roof rail weather-strip onto the pinchweld flange (2). Move toward the front of the vehicle.



3. Install the fasteners (3) in order to retain the weather-strips (1) to the door opening.
