Front Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement DeVille

1. Open the front door.
2. Remove the windshield pillar garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim
3. Remove the front carpet retainer. Refer to Intermediate Carpet Replacement in Interior Trim.
4. Pull the door opening weather-strip from the pinch weld flange.

1. Position the alignment mark at the upper rear corner of the door opening.
2. Install the weather-strip to the flange.

Firmly push the weather-strip onto the pinch weld flange until the weather-strip is fully seated.

3. Install the front carpet retainer. Refer to Intermediate Carpet Replacement in Interior Trim.
4. Install the windshield pillar garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
5. Close the door.
