Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement Eldorado

1. Open the door.
2. Remove the carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.



3. Remove the weather-strip (1) by pulling the weather-strip out of the retainer.

1. Locate the weather-strip (1) to the base of the windshield pillar.

Important: Ensure that the weather-strip fully seats at the following areas:

•	The corners

•	The thick flange areas

2. Install the weather-strip (1) to the door opening.
3. Firmly press the weather-strip onto the pinch weld flange in order to secure the weather-strip.
4. Install the carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.
