Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Deville

1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .



2. Disconnect the electrical connectors (2).
3. Remove the fasteners (4) retaining the speaker (3) to the door.
4. Pull outward the speaker and disconnect the electrical connector.
5. Remove the two upper retainers that secure the water deflector (1) to the door.
6. Carefully peel the water deflector (1) from the door while guiding the wires through the slits in the deflector.
7. Remove the water deflector (1).

1. Carefully guide the wiring through the slits in the water deflector.



2. Install the water deflector (1).
3. Make sure all of the wrinkles are removed from the water deflector.
4. Install the two retainers at the top edge of the water deflector (1).
5. Connect the speaker electrical connector.
6. Install the speaker (3) into the door.
7. Install the speaker fasteners (4).
8. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
