Did you perform the Power Windows System Check?

  1. Use a digital multimeter (DMM) in order to backprobe the inoperative LH rear window switch terminal A to terminal E.
  2. Press the rear window UP switch, then the window DOWN switch.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

  1. Use a DMM in order to backprobe the LH rear window switch terminal F to terminal D.
  2. Use a DMM in order to backprobe the LH rear window switch terminal F to terminal H

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

  1. Use a DMM in order to backprobe the LH front window switch connector C1 terminal C (DK GRN) to terminal H (PPL).
  2. Press the left rear power window UP switch, then the window DOWN switch on the LH front window switch.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

  1. Ensure that the LH rear window switch connector is clean and tight.
  2. If the connector is OK, replace the LH rear window switch. Refer to Front Side Door Window Switch Replacement .

Repair the open in CKT 168 (DK GRN) or CKT 169 (PPL). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Ensure that the LH front window switch connectors are clean and tight.
  2. If the connectors are OK, replace the LH front window switch. Refer to Front Side Door Window Switch Replacement .

  1. Use a DMM in order to backprobe the inoperative LH rear window motor connector from terminal A to terminal B.
  2. Press the inoperative rear window UP switch, then the window DOWN switch.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

  1. Ensure that the inoperative rear window motor connector is clean and tight.
  2. If the connector is OK, replace the LH rear window motor. Refer to Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement .

Repair the open or short to ground in CKT 669 (BRN) or in CKT 668 (DK BLU). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
