Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the side view mirror assembly. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Motor Replacement .
  2. Remove the window run channel. Refer to Window Channel Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 320068 Size: MH
  3. Remove the fasteners (1) retaining the reveal molding (2).
  4. Remove the upper reveal molding (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 320068 Size: MH
  1. Install the upper reveal molding (2).

    2. Object Number: 320075 Size: MH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

    Important: Hold the molding tight to the door frame while installing the screws. Ensure that the plastic nuts do not pop out of the door.

  2. Install the fasteners.

    3. Tighten the fasteners in the proper sequence shown in the illustration.

    Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  3. Install the window run channel. Refer to Window Channel Replacement .
  4. Install the side view mirror assembly. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Motor Replacement .
