The Remote function actuator (RFA) module performs internal tests on the EEPROM each time the RFA module performs a write function to a memory address in the EEPROM.
If the data read back after a write does not match the data being written three consecutive attempts, the RFA module sets DTC B1007 as current.
A DTC B1007 is stored in the RFA module memory.
No driver warning message is displayed for this DTC.
The RFA module will store the value being written in another memory address in the EEPROM.
This DTC requires a successful write/read in order to change the DTC from current to history.
The EEPROM cannot be removed from the RFA module.
