1. Turn the ignition to the RUN position.
2. Use a scan tool in order to choose the cellular telephone options and observe the hands free state screen.
3. Connect a scan tool to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
4. Attempt to make a hands free call.

Does the scan tool indicate active for the hands free state?

2. Disconnect the hands free microphone from the harness connector.
3. Disconnect the cellular telephone module harness connector.
4. Turn the ignition to the RUN position.
5. Use a DMM in order to set to DC scale and measure the voltage between the cellular telephone module harness connector terminals A and F.

Is battery voltage present?
