Did you perform the entire Interior Lights Dimming System Check?

Go to Interior Lights Dimming System Check

1. Disconnect the instrument cluster connector C1.
2. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter (DMM) from the instrument cluster connector C1 cavity A3 (PNK) to ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 5

Connect a DMM from the instrument cluster connector C1 cavity A4 (LT GRN) to ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 6

Replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

Is the instrument cluster replacement complete?

Go to Interior Lights Dimming System Check

Repair the open in CKT 1039 (PNK). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Interior Lights Dimming System Check

Repair the open in CKT 147 (LT GRN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?
