Removal Procedure

  1. Move the seats forward.

  2. Object Number: 161014  Size: SH
  3. Remove the seat anchor bolts.
  4. Disconnect the front seat rear air duct.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  6. Raise the seat assembly and support the assembly to gain access to the bottom of the inner rear adjuster track.
  7. Drill out the rivet.
  8. Remove the belt buckle assembly.

Installation Procedure

  1. Lower the seat assembly.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. Align the rear seat track holes.
  4. Slip the belt attachment bracket under the track and align with the anchor bolt hole.

  5. Object Number: 161014  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the bolts.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

  8. Connect the rear air duct.
