Assembly Procedure

    Object Number: 344138 Size: SH
  1. Reinstall the tilt lever.
  2. Install the steering column housing assembly (1).
  3. Pull back on the tilt lever (2) and push steering column housing assembly (1) up and towards the column.
  4. Remove the tilt lever.

    5. Object Number: 378827 Size: SH
  5. Lubricate the pivot pins with lithium grease.
  6. Install 2 pivot pins (1).
  7. Stake the pins in 3 places.
  8. Install the tilt spring assembly. Refer to Tilt Spring - Assemble - Off Vehicle .
