    • Replacing the power steering fluid is a two-stage process:
        1. Flush the old fluid from the power steering system using new fluid.
        2. Bleed the power steering system in order to remove any trapped air.
    • You may also use this procedure in cold climates, where temperatures are -12°C (10°F) or colder:
        1. Flush the system.
        2. Change the fluid.
        3. Use Low Temperature Climate Service Fluid, GM P/N 12345866 or the equivalent.
