The camber is the amount the wheels tilt from vertical when viewed from the front or rear of the car. The camber is positive (+) if the wheels tilt outward at the top (2). The camber is negative (-) if the wheels tilt inward at the top (1). The amount of tilt is measured in degrees from the vertical.
Excessive positive camber may cause outside shoulder wear on the tires. Excessive negative camber may cause inside shoulder wear. Excessive camber will also cause the vehicle to pull or lead to the side having the most positive camber.
