Removal Procedure

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  3. Remove the lower front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement in Body Front End.
  4. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  5. Lower the vehicle.

  7. Remove the radiator inlet hose (1) from the radiator.
  8. Remove the radiator inlet hose (1) from the engine.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 69929  Size: SH
  1. Install the radiator inlet hose (1) to the engine.
  2. Install the radiator inlet hose (1) to the radiator.
  3. Install the lower front air deflector.Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement in Body Front End.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Refill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
  7. Start the engine.
  8. Check for leaks.
