1. Connect Jumper Harness J 39775 to the transmission 20-way connector.
2. Connect an ohmmeter from terminal N to ground.

Is the ohmmeter display less than the value listed?

1000ohms

Go to Step 2

Inspect the PNK wire CKT 1224 of the transmission harness for a short to ground.

Refer to Electrical Diagnosis, section 8.

Was the condition found?

Connect an ohmmeter from terminal R to ground.

Is the ohmmeter display less than the value listed?

1000ohms

Go to Step 4

Inspect the DK BLU wire CKT 1225 of the transmission harness for a short to ground.

Was the condition found?

Connect an ohmmeter from terminal P to ground.

Is the ohmmeter display less than the value listed?

1000ohms

Go to Step 6

Inspect the ORN wire CKT 1226 of the transmission harness for a short to ground.

Was the condition found?

1. Run the engine at Idle.
2. Place the gear select lever in the Reverse position.
3. Connect an ohmmeter from terminal N to ground.

Is the ohmmeter display less than the value listed?

Inspect and repair the PNK wire CKT 1224 of the transmission harness for an open.

Refer to Electrical Diagnosis, section 8.

Is the ohmmeter display less than the value listed?

If no open or shorts to ground were found, replace the Automatic Transmission Fluid Pressure Manual Valve Position Switch.

In order to verify your repair, perform the following procedure:

1. Select DTC.
2. Select Clear Info.
3. Operate the vehicle under the following conditions:

3.1.	Move the gear select through all of the ranges.

3.2.	Ensure that the vehicle achieves an up-shift

4. Select Specific DTC. Enter DTC P1810.

Has the test run and passed?
