CHANGES TO HOOD & STRUT USAGE 2ND DESIGN PARTS COMPATIBILITY

SUBJECT-. INFORMATION ON CHANGES TO HOOD AND STRUT USAGE

MODELS AFFECTED: 1992 ELDORADOS AND SEVILLES

This bulletin supersedes T-92-126 which should be discarded. This bulletin is being revised to correct the hood strut part numbers.

Starting with VIN's 611273 and 814520, a part number change was put into effect for 1992 Eldorado and Seville hoods and struts. Due to part changes, in the event that a hood must be changed for vehicles prior to this breakpoint the hood struts must also be changed to match.

The part changes are as follows:

Hood: P/N 3535130 replaced by P/N 3537063 - Eldorado P/N 3534314 replaced by P/N 3537064 - Seville T46) P/N 3534664 re-placed by P/N 3537065 - Seville l-T46)

Hood Struts: P/N 3529456 replaced by P/N 3537090 - Eldorado P/N 3529455 replaced by P/N 3537091 - Seville/STS

NOTE: Use Labor Time Guide for repair time allowance.

Parts are currently available from GMSPO.

For warranty purposes use Labor Operation B1677 (both) at .2 hour for strut change.
