Did you perform the automatic day-night mirror system check?

Go to Automatic Day-Night Mirrors System Check

Check operation of the Back-up Lamps.

Does the Back-up Lamps work normally?

Go to Step 3

Go to Backup Lamp System Check in Lighting Systems.

1. Disconnect the Automatic Day-Night Mirror connector.
2. Place the Ignition Switch in the Run position.
3. Place the Transmission Gear Select Lever in the REVERSE position.
4. Measure Voltage with a DMM between Terminal 3 of the Automatic Day-Night Mirror connector and ground.

Is the measured voltage within the specified range?

9-12 V

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Replace the Automatic Day-Night Mirror. Refer to Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Go to Automatic Day-Night Mirrors System Check

Repair the Open in CKT 24 (LT GRN) between the Automatic Day-Night Mirror connector and S 414.

Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
