Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Left Front DeVille

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 315274  Size: LH
  1. Move the seat full forward.
  2. Remove the seat anchor bolts (1).
  3. Disconnect the rear HVAC duct (3).
  4. Raise and support the seat.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  6. Remove the nut.
  7. Remove the buckle assembly.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the buckle assembly to the seat track (2).
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the seat belt buckle anchor nut.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the anchor nut to 27 N·m (20 lb ft).

  5. Connect the electrical connector.
  6. Lower the seat.
  7. Connect the rear HVAC duct (3).
  8. Install the seat anchor bolts (1).
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the anchor bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
