Cornering Lamp Replacement Deville

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the screw retaining the lamp.
  2. Remove the lamp.
  3. Remove the sockets and the bulbs from the lamp.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the sockets and the bulbs to the lamp.
  2. Install the screw in order to secure the lamp to the vehicle.
  3. Align the cornering lamp with the headlamp.
  4. Leave a gap of 2 mm (5/64 in) between the cornering lamp and the headlamp.

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Tighten the screw.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the upper filler panel. Refer to Filler Panel Replacement - Upper in Body Front End.

  2. Object Number: 365036  Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolt.
  4. Remove the lamp unit (2).
  5. Remove the socket and the bulb from the lamp unit.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 365036  Size: SH
  1. Install the socket and the bulb to the lamp unit (2).
  2. Install a bolt or a clip in order to secure the lamp unit (2) to the vehicle.
  3. Install the upper fill panel. Refer to Filler Panel Replacement - Upper in Body Front End.
